Taking baseball into the community

Khayelitsha Giants Baseball takes the game beyond formal match days by introducing children in the community to baseball at grassroots level.

Community sessions give young people a chance to throw, catch, learn basic skills and experience the sport before moving into more regular training and club participation.

The approach supports the Giants' wider development pathway: introduce the game, build skills, create regular playing opportunities and help committed players progress.
