Onwabile Gxalaba is one of the players who has grown through the Khayelitsha Giants pathway and gone on to represent South Africa at Under-15 girls level.
Her representative journey has included international baseball, showing young players in Khayelitsha that the pathway can extend from community and club baseball to the national stage.
For the Giants, her progress is part of the club's wider goal: give young players regular baseball, competitive opportunities and a pathway to representative honours.
